The Rebel.

       The Rebel.

No rebellion ever began,
Without a view of travesty.
Some crime of lovelessness,
Rained down upon you and me.

So shall we obey
And be contained by them?
Or do we fight
For the freedom of love again?

I am no soldier
Except that I fight for good.
I am no rebel
If not exposing all the falsehood.

I create no danger
Except to the evil in men.
The love I give freely
Will help heal the world again.

If you see a rebel,
Perhaps change is what you've seen.
If you thought adversely
Maybe provoked is what you've been.

I hate the greed
That goes on daily before my eyes.
I dislike intensely too
The pollution reaching to the skies.

So please count me a rebel,
If I raise questions in your mind.
I'd be very happy
If you saw these issues defined.

Power to the people
For we fight to save mankind.
Rebel love to the people
Be brave, do good to others of our kind!

Whilst I admire the way Ernesto 'CHE' Guevara initially fought to oppose injustices he saw in South America, I am in no way favoured of his later day activities and use of weapons and other instruments in the pursuit of his and Castros shared aims. I abhor any kind of violence as a way to solve/resolve any issue. Much as Gandhi who fought violence with peaceful non-cooperation, I too believe this to be the only suitable and fair way to address any human conflict.
The poem is simply about LOVE and how to display such.

It promises to be worth it!

It promises to be worth it!

Unknown the road to you and I
Some sentiment of obscurity,
Is how the ether tempted me,
And yet your passion does ratify.

The clever trickery of early light,
A pressure to hold on,
Feel how we belong,
To the desire of what feels right.

Cloaked behind a veil of love,
We dance the fragrant air,
As if we live without a care,
Drawn to all hope from up above.

Shinning for a keen sense of joy,
The light inside will shine,
Just to know you are mine,
You my girl, and I, a happy boy.

Power flows in these golden bands,
Some tension held again,
I try to leave, yet remain
Forever lost to touch your hands.

Crisp the attitude comes holding you,
Descended to a taste,
Of what we alone can waste,
On feelings shared in love so true.

Come my lover take me down tonight,
The bed of flowers
Shall charge your powers,
Some devilment that I can never fight.

 'M' x

Fire-Water.

        Fire-Water.

Rip my heart out why don't ya?
Throw more caution to the wind.
Don't tell my children tall tales,
Of how much you earned
To sell their futures in toil,
Just so you could spend the spoil,
Taking power from our soil.
Drill into the sacred heart,
You don't care it's obvious
Where you start, or who you'll slay,
Just so you can waste more,
Taste more, and deface more.
Take your Cuadrilla-ian dollars,
Shove them in a safer place,
Don't come here no more,
Or try to save your bastards face.
Pure evil is in your waters,
That you'll inject into our
Sons and daughters, and innocent life
Teeming here upon our earth.

Carnage on a global scale,
Just so you can FRACK our shale.
Bring out gas in foetid pipes,
And flood the natural world
With a stinking chemical spoil,
No doubt to soak away into our soil.
Not checked or even regulated,
'Cos this is often what you hated.
Giving bribes to poor blinded fools,
Lying about how awfully noisy
Are the constant trucking routes,
And leakages from outdated tools.
Why don't you focus less
On greed, and give us all
A chance to feed, grow seed, indeed?
Waste not want not is a message,
So why don't you stop and listen,
Free us of this death you rave,
Or untimely, shall be our grave....
